Here are some of the most popular seasonal events in Ottawa for limo service:

Spring Ottawa Events
  • Canadian Tulip Festival - Held annually in May with an attendance over 500,000 visitors, this is the largest tulip festival in the world. The first edition took place in 1953 in and the event is still growing and going strong, displaying over ONE MILLION tulips every year! 

  • Ottawa International Children's Festival - Got kids between the ages of 4 - 15 that are interested in the performing arts? If you do, then you'll want to bring them to this event. Running yearly since 1985, this festival showcases world-class theatre, dance, and music for youth audiences. 

  • Canada Dance Festival - As you may have guessed, this is the premier dancing festival in the great white north. Held in several Ottawa locations, including the National Arts Centre, the National Gallery of Canada, and various city parks - this celebration will get you moving.  

Summer Ottawa Events
  • Ottawa Bluesfest - Started in 1994, this massive annual music festival has become one of the most popular events in Ottawa. Attracting some of the most popular artists and bands in the, more than 300,000 people attend this event in the heart of the city at Lebreton Flats near Parliament Hill.

  • Ottawa Jazz Festival - Great music festivals are bountiful in Ottawa during the summer, and this is one of the best. Taking place over ten days just before Canada Day, this outdoor event features some of the best jazz acts on the planet across several venues in Ottawa.

  • Canada Day - Ottawa is the Capital of Canada and there's no better place in the country to celebrate Canada's birthday. Festivities take place throughout the day and night in the city on Parliament Hill, in the parks, and throughout the streets. It all culminates with an amazing fireworks display over the Ottawa River.

  • Ottawa Fringe Festival - Not very Ottawa festival is about attracting big names from around this world. This is a unique and extraordinary event that showcases local talent and takes place in downtown Ottawa during 10 days in June. It features underground (or "fringe") theatre and other performing arts entertainment. 

Fall Ottawa Events
  • Ottawa Wine & Food Festival - It's hard to go wrong with wine and food, am I right? Well, if you love wine and food, then this event is not going to disappoint. Get ready to taste some of the finest foods and wines from all around the world.

  • Ottawa Fall Rhapsody - This seasonal event offers you the chance to view some of the National Captial Region's most gorgeous autumn scenery. Several outdoor viewing and activities are annually planned at Gatineau Park. 

  • Ottawa International Animation Festival - You'll be drawn in to this gathering! OIAF is the biggest celebration of animation in North America, with screenings and other various events taking place over a 5-day period.

Winter Ottawa Events
  • Winterlude - Ottawa winters can be harsh, but Winterlude warms the spirits. Started in 1979, the annual winter celebration takes place over the first three weekends in February. Skate on the canal, play in the Snowflake Kingdom, and enjoy the ice sculptures!

  • Christmas Lights Across Canada - The night sky is lit up during the holiday season with over 250,000 lights in downtown Ottawa. For nearly 30 years, this has been the premier display of Christmas lights in the country.

  • Winter Brewfest - Beer's not only for warm weather, you know. Held at Lansdowne park, this feel-good festival features great food, music, and - of course - beer!
